The Lord is answering your prayers
in powerful ways!

We are very excited to launch the Mission Flight Academy for three primary purposes:
1.  To train volunteer pilots to the highest standards so that we have a sustainable "pipeline" of qualified and caring pilots to meet the growing needs of our outreach.
2.  To provide scholarships and opportunities to at risk youth of our communities towards flight lessons and to expose them to potential career paths in aviation and service.
3.  To provide an aero-club for general aviation pilots and to grow our aircraft inventory through lease-back arrangements.

The Academy will operate under its own 501(c)(3) status with the vision to open chapters at different locations.  The first two chapters will be at Redlands and El Monte under the direction of our volunteer pilot coordinator, Jason Rearick, who is also the co-founder of the Academy (see the spot light on Jason and his family below).  The Academy has four planes ready for service, and is looking for more planes through lease backs or donations.
Current Fleet:
- Cessna 150
- Cessna 172
- Cherokee Six
- Cessna 401B twin turbo

The Academy will eventually be able to utilize it's own fleet for any particular medical/dental mission trip and have a roster of trained and experienced pilots ready to serve.
We are excited as God is giving us fresh vision and direction for the long-term growth to reach and serve more people in need, who He loves so deeply.  We are particularly wanting to serve unreached peoples who are vulnerable with the least access to needed care.  Please join us in praying for the unfolding and development of this exciting next stage of Mission Flight!

Jason Rearick and Family

Meet Jason Rearick, a humble, dedicated, hard working servant who has a rich and deep blend of both competency and kindness.  Jason has a career background in the Air Force and currently serves as a captain in Air Force Reserves at March Air Reserve Base.  Jason has a master’s degree in computer information systems and is a software developer and network systems engineer, but what energizes his soul and faith in Jesus is...

Mission Flight's "new"  Cherokee Six!

We are thrilled and excited beyond words to report that the Lord has enabled us to purchase a replacement Cherokee Six for the one that was "totaled" after striking a goat on take-off in February of this year!

We will be able to use the new avionics and autopilot from the other plane and install them in this one.  Additionally, the "new" plane has less "total time" hours on it and is in excellent condition, inside and out!  It is currently undergoing a thorough inspection and is expected to be placed into service in August.

Come this SATURDAY, Aug 01 from 12 noon - 1pm, to El Monte Airport to be a part of the outdoor dedication and commissioning.
Space is limited due to COVID.  Masks required.

And Most Importantly...
The Team Has Recently Returned From Serving The Huichol Indians!

Thank you for your prayers and ongoing support of the outreach to the Huichol Indians in Nayarit and Jalisco.  Angelina recently returned with the team from San Quintin where they did a wide variety of service projects, food and hygiene kit distribution, and children's programs in partnership with local leaders and pastors.  They were unable to go up into the mountains due to Covid, but they were able to serve many towns in the foothills where they were warmly welcomed and invited to return!
Our mission and vision is to compassionately connect those in need with hope, help, & healing, whether on the ground or through the air.  We do this through our six dynamic programs (three are in the U.S. and three are international).  Which one of the six programs is closest to your heart?  Learn more and make a difference today!

Due to Covid, we are not taking volunteer teams to Mexico, however we are flying supplies down to keep our local team going so that they can continue to serve those in the greatest need.  We will resume taking volunteer teams down as soon as it is safe to do so.  Locally, we are resuming patient transport flights on a "case by case" basis.
