Hello Parents and Guardians-

I can't believe it's May and the school year is coming to an end! I am currently in the process of getting all of the books checked back in and on the shelves before the summer. If your student currently has library books at home, please be sure to return them by May 20th at the latest. If a book has been lost or damaged, please reach out to me directly at blackford_kelly@svvsd.org

Also, many public libraries are offering summer reading programs! The Longmont Public Library is hosting a Summer Kick-off Party on May 27th from 1-3pm. They will have ice cream and will be handing out their Summer Reading Bingo Challenge. You can find more information about the event here.

Happy Reading!
Ms. Kelly
If students will be attending a SVVSD school next year they will keep their iPad and charger over the summer. If students are leaving SVVSD, they need to return their iPad and charger to school on or before the last day of school or your account will be charged. Please also know that if your iPad currently has any damage (cracked screen, etc). you need to report that to the front office so we can assess what needs to be done and what charges, if any, need to be applied.
Join us on Thursday, May 19 from 4:00pm-5:00pm in the Science Garden to celebrate and honor our retirees, Dale Peterson & Trish Norten. We hope to see you there!
The last day of school picnic is BACK! Please join us on our last day of school: Thursday, May 26 from 11:00am-1:00pm on the upper field to celebrate the last day of school. Bring a blanket, chairs, lunch (sack lunch can also be provided to students from our cafe if you need) to eat, and let's visit, celebrate and hang out with friends and classmates. Kona Ice will also be attending for a Mwebaza Club fundraiser, and DiNoci (dairy free dessert) will set up their tent and serve some samples to students and families. A map will be included in next weeks newsletter to show you exactly where your child's grade level will be located on the field. Important note: you will also be able to check-out your child with your teacher anytime between 11:00am-1:00pm to get your summer started early! Hope to see you all there!

Dear St. Vrain Parents and Guardians,

Thank you for your continued partnership and support as St. Vrain Valley Schools prepares for the 2022-2023 school year. The Transportation Department is committed to continuously providing the best possible service for our students attending classes within the district. To this end, each year we require that students desiring transportation services complete an application for busing. The application window is currently available and remains open throughout the academic year. Parents and Guardians will be notified when an application has been processed and a seat has been reserved.

While we make every effort to accommodate as many eligible riders as possible, transportation services are provided on a space-available, and first-come, first-served basis.

Please click on the link below for Step-by-Step instructions for the Bus Rider Application which also includes a link to our Bus Rider Application.  Please contact us at 303-702-7530 if you have additional questions.
