Parents & Guardians,

We had an outstanding Mwebaza Day on Tuesday, March 1. It was very special celebrating the long-lasting friendship between Niwot Elementary and Mwebaza Primary School in Uganda. Throughout the day students engaged in activities, collaboration, discussion and fun! A big thank you to Mr. Peterson, Mrs. Hansen, Mrs. Madry and the Mwebaza Club for making it all happen. Check out this link to read a spotlight on Mwebaza Day at Niwot Elementary:  https://niwotes.svvsd.org/2022/03/04/building-connections-through-mwebaza-day-at-niwot-elementary/

Make sure to check out the Innovation Academy information below. This is a very popular summer event in SVVSD and spots fill fast.

Thank you so much to all of those that have donated Milk Caps for Moola! Please know that the next pick-up for these are Spring Break so if you have any that you are waiting to send in please do that prior to Spring Break.

Don't forget to login to Infinite Campus and see report cards from the 2nd trimester. The grades were posted last Friday. If you have any problems viewing the report card please contact the office for assistance.

A reminder that our Student Council is sponsoring another "Give Back" event. Every year, student council chooses a charity and/or fundraiser and this year they are partnering with The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. All funds stay here in Colorado and go to the Rocky Mountain Chapter of LLS to help researchers and scientists find the cure for childhood cancer.

Please let me know what you need and how I can support you.

Sincerely,

Nancy Pitz
Principal
