Dear Families,

The Niwot-Mwebaza Jog-a-thon is on Monday!  All students will be running during their specials period, whether or not they are participating in the fundraising.  It will be a fun day of fitness and friendship!

Please have your child bring a waterbottle to school on Monday to keep hydrated during the run.  Your child also needs to wear shoes that are good for running/ walking.  The weather is expected to be sunny, so applying some sunscreen before leaving for school is also advisable.

Students can still register online at  We are SO CLOSE to reaching our goal of having a pledge from every U.S. state!  Can you help us turn the map solid green by reaching out to any friends or family in the gray states on the map?  We anticipate that we will meet this goal and Mrs. Pitz and Mr. Peterson will be getting pies in their faces very soon!

Niwot Elementary PTAC invites you to our general meeting to be held at school this Wednesday, May 4th from 10:45-11:15am before LATE START drop-off.

Please join us for this important meeting. We will be voting on the proposed budget and voting on the board nominees for the 2022-2023 school year. (Your children are welcome to attend with you as well since this is before school.)

The proposed slate:
Monet Stoneman - President
Molly Walsh - VP/VP Fundraising
Maggie Marcoux - Treasurer
Sarah Racz - Communications
Colleen Grady - Secretary

In addition, the 1st Annual Cougar Carnival is just around the corner on May 13th from 4:30-7pm and we need your help to make it happen! We need a team of volunteers to help with set-up and clean-up, distributing tickets, running the games and activities, managing the food and drink stations, giving out prizes, and helping at the Spirit Wear Booth. This is going to be an amazing event and we can't do it without you! Sign up here

A reminder that the last day for AAA is Thursday, May 12.

Thank you for coming to the Scholastic Book Fair this past week! It was truly wonderful to meet so many families in person and I am so grateful to you all for making this event an outstanding success!

My reward for hosting a Book Fair is watching your kids discover new books. All that joy wouldn’t be possible without volunteers from our school community - you deserve my special thanks. I appreciate each and every one of you! And thank you to Molly Walsh and Monet Stoneman for helping out from start to finish - I couldn’t have done it without you!

If your child missed out on the fair, there is still time to shop at our online Book Fair through May 4th! These online purchases will also benefit our school. Additionally, any unused eWallet funds can be used at the Scholastic Store or to fund an eWallet account at our next book fair.

Thank you and happy reading!

Ms. Kelly

Dear St. Vrain Parents and Guardians,

Thank you for your continued partnership and support as St. Vrain Valley Schools prepares for the 2022-2023 school year. The Transportation Department is committed to continuously providing the best possible service for our students attending classes within the district. To this end, each year we require that students desiring transportation services complete an application for busing. The application window is currently available and remains open throughout the academic year. Parents and Guardians will be notified when an application has been processed and a seat has been reserved.

While we make every effort to accommodate as many eligible riders as possible, transportation services are provided on a space-available, and first-come, first-served basis.

Please click on the link below for Step-by-Step instructions for the Bus Rider Application which also includes a link to our Bus Rider Application.  Please contact us at 303-702-7530 if you have additional questions.
