Help with a Real Restorative Justice Process
True restorative justice process involve all willing stakeholders (anyone who was harmed, caused harm, and those who are part of the impacted community). They also focus on the three pillars: harms and needs, obligations, and engagement.
Restorative justice is not easy work. We need your help! In our community, a real-life situation has occurred calling for a restorative justice process. However, due to the nature of the power dynamics and Restorative Justice Coalition's relationship with those involved, we did have to secure a facilitator from another community, who is unbiased.
A Black transgender non-binary woman (they/she) from Massachusetts is facilitating this situation's restorative justice process remotely, and we believe Black transgender folks should get paid for their labor and hardwork!
If you have anything to spare, please contribute, and definitely share our fundraiser!
We appreciate it!
