Request for Solidarity
Sex workers continue to be stigmatized in our society. In the LGBTQ community, sex workers have been on the frontlines of our activism, including full-service sex workers, dancers and a variety of other workers. Black and brown trans sex workers were key players in launching our movement and even today, many Gay, Queer and Trans sex workers of all backgrounds still make power moves. But COVID-19 is shutting down strip clubs, bars and making full-service sex work nearly impossible. We stand with our partners at Sex Worker Solidarity Network. We have applications of sex workers in the Bay area facing evictions, unable to care for children and unable to get medications. We need as much help as possible! We want to help EVERYONE but are prioritizing sex workers of color and/or disabled sex workers and/or trans sex workers and/or undocumented sex workers in the Bay area!
We are asking if you have even just $10 to spare, please, make a contribution. EVERYONE deserves compassion! Please share this text and our fundraising tools below everywhere you can!
