Note from Linda

The archetypical stories of Holy Week speak of the greatest challenges of the human experience and tell of the power that sustains and guides us through these challenges. These stories tell of a truth—beyond precepts and yes, even beyond principles—that helps us receive this guiding, sustaining power within. I hope you will join us this Sunday as we enter into the sacred, liminal space of Holy Week, plumbing its depths for that which guides, that which sustains, that which liberates.
Many blessings to you! Love, Linda

Rowdy and Ron have been married 53 years. Rowdy retired from education with 25 years years of teaching. Ron retired after 35 years as a self-employed businessman. They’ve lived in Sun City for 12 years now.  Neither one were involved with music or entertainment until about 5 years ago or so when Rowdy started singing and Ron took up playing the guitar. You may have caught them entertaining locally at various churches, nursing homes, Mulligans and Wriggley’s in Sun City, along with hosting Sun City Night at Kenz Guitars on the Square, plus, various Georgetown local restaurants. They are looking forward to entertaining us.

Our Bucket of Hope recipient is the Caring Place

The Caring Place provides help with the most basic of all human needs: food, clothing, and shelter.  The Caring Place is committed to helping families in our area not only survive but thrive.  Jackie Syers our Caring Place Representative attended their quarterly meeting recently.  She said, while they have enough food for people, the choice of food is limited as they have had a 49% increase in all types of assistance.  If you would like to donate to the Bucket of Hope, click here and select Bucket of Hope Fund.
