Note from Rev. Steve Bolen
What if we could, in the face of the many challenges we encounter, bring a thought to mind that encouraged us to lift our vision and bring peace to our hearts? Jesus modeled this practice over and over as he walked the Earth and ministered to his sisters and brothers. He obviously thought those higher truths and he felt them and he often spoke them and did so with authority.
There is an interesting counterbalance to "giving in" to debilitating thoughts, judgements, complaints. It is sometimes referred to as "Celestial Amnesia." When we "remember Heaven," our "Celestialness" takes over and we see with the single eye that Jesus spoke of in Matthew. The light of this kind of seeing "lights" our way and not only blesses us but blesses all that are seen in that light. Our world, I think we can all agree, can use more Light today.
Will you join us on Sunday, May 23 as we support each other in remembering the Heaven that indwells us all?

Update from the Board of Directors
Our call for volunteers to form a Task Force for re-opening has been answered and these are the people who have stepped forward to begin the search for our new church home:
Although they have already begun their search, they welcome any ideas that you might have for a suitable venue. They have set a goal to have a new home for offering church services live by September 1st. Please contact them if you have an idea or lead that you would like to share with them. Just click this link to submit your information.
From Our Prayer Chaplain Therese Finn
One Presence and One Power is the guiding force behind every step of our search for a new church home. Our Board of Directors and Task Force team members are co-creators with God as they are led to the perfect decisions and choices. Each of us supports our church and Board as we are able, wholeheartedly sharing our time, talents and treasure to help reach our goals. There are no obstacles; only opportunities as we move toward a new vision of what our church can become.
We move into a bright future with open minds and hearts, knowing wherever we are, God IS and all is well.
News Flash: Carol Light is ready to start up her Fifth Sunday after-church picnics at her home south of Walburg, starting this month!
Many of you will remember wonderful times in the past at her home and she has decided it was time. She asks that if you are NOT vaccinated, that you wear a mask and practice safe distancing, at your own comfort level. It is important to her that everyone is comfortable when they arrive!
Those of you wishing to do a watch party at Carol's place on the 30th, feel free to arrive around 10:30 with your laptop or cell phone. Carol has lots of nooks and crannies in her home that can accommodate “break-out” groups. Again, she asks that you either be vaccinated or practice safe distancing and masking to keep yourself and others safe and comfortable.
(BTW, she has a birthday on that date, so I feel a birthday song coming on!)
Fun times on the Nature Walk!
