A Note From Linda
Faith. Hope. Love. What exactly is it that we hope for? Do we invest our faith in the hope that Love will somehow triumph? How exactly will that come about? How many affirmations do we have to write or is something more required? Last week we explored perhaps one of the most critical turning points in the evolution of consciousness, the idea behind the sentence, "And the 'Word' (the Logos—that which brings everything into creation) became flesh and dwelt among us." Does that still happen today? What does that look like? If you could use some hope this week, join us this Sunday to hear a first-hand account of the Word becoming flesh as it frequently does—in the most unexpected ways, in the most unexpected places. With faith, hope, and love, Linda

New! UCOG Healing Prayer Circle
The Prayer Chaplains will lead a Healing Prayer Circle (HPC) based on focused intention and the limitless healing power of God. It will be held on the 3rd Sunday of every month after service in the library starting February 16th.
Bring your healing intentions for yourself, others and the world to the Circle to harnesses the miraculous energies of a small group to heal others, ourselves and the world. Each HPC will focus conscious prayer on healing the planet, individuals & situations of the participants. Small pieces of paper will be given to each person in the circle to write down a challenge or situation needing healing. These notes will be placed in a bowl to be released & purified by water & earth. The Prayer Chaplains will hold sacred space for the circle. A breathing exercise will be followed by a 3-minute meditation. We look forward to praying with you.
