ICD-10 code change claim rejections

Blue Cross of Illinois is having claim rejections
on some of the new ICD-10 Diagnosis Codes
This is being worked on by their EDI Department.
This would be for Dates of Services on/or after 10/1/2021

10-digit dialing will be required for local calls
 
Effective 10/24/2021
The 708 Area code will now require you to dial the 10-digit number
(The area code + telephone number) This includes Faxes.
This is due to changes starting in July 2022 of a new number 9-8-8
The 988 calls will route to the existing National Suicide Prevention of 800-273-8255
 
Many other area codes will also require this change.

New Area Code 464 is coming

Chicago’s southern suburbs will receive a new telephone area code
this 464 area code will overlay the 708 area code.
This will be available when all assignable prefixes in
the 708 area code have been exhausted,
That's not expected to occur until January 2022
