Knott's Soak City
It's summer! Time to have some fun. Yay! Our upper grade levels (7th- 8th) packed up their swim wear and went of to their field trip to Knott's soak city to have some soaking fun in the sun. Campers enjoyed their day and where able to spend some bonding time with their peers and counselors.
Activity Time!

This week for arts and crafts students used their creativity skills to make their own dream catcher. Children were highly interested in making one after learning the purpose of a dream catcher.
(Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math)

During STEAM children were encouraged to do some critical thinking when asked if everything breathes. Children were then introduced to the respiratory system and its unique functions. After the lesson counselors worked together with the campers to create their own respiratory system models.

Campers look forward to gym time where they get to play games with their peers. This week children were able to play tunnel ball, a version of capture the flag and challenge themselves through obstacle courses.
A Day at the Parkk
On Wednesday campers went to Hollenbeck park. Counselors planned a schedule of fun activities for them that would encourage the children self esteem and team building skills. Activities included a water balloon contest, a modified potato sack race and donut challenge.
Stay tuned for the upcoming weeks...
