This month our club accomplished many milestones that we would like to share with you in this e-news.

Our Strategic Plan is working!!!

On February 9, 2019 all the staff of the Salesian Family Youth Center met to evaluate the strategic plan. We are proud to announce that we have accomplish some milestones.

Getting Ready for our Summer Program

Yes! We are getting ready for our Summer Program. We have started our Head Counselors Meetings. The Head Counselors are people who plan everything that is going to happen during 6 weeks 
in June and July 2019. Our main objective of our summer program is to offer the best quality program to our children! 

Visit from our Australian Friends! 

A group of young people from Australia came to visit the club. They are young people who are connected with Salesians in Australia. They were on their way to Panama for a meeting with the Pope. 

Saint John Bosco Celebration

This year we celebrate Don Bosco with some youthful formation, singing and pizza party. We are trying to strengthen the Salesian spirit in our club. 

Different-Able Team

In our club we have a different-able team that meets every Saturday to practice. They are also looking to do some outreach program for the community. If you have any idea, please let us know. 

Don Bosco Tech support

A group of young people from Don Bosco Technical Institute came to teach some technical skills to our young people. Thank you so much for your support! 

Collaboration with Crayon 

Crayon collection has come to our club and help us with some beautiful arts and crafts. Our Children enjoyed their presence. Thank you so much for making this possible! 

Collaborating with other Salesian Clubs in CA.

As part of our strategic plan we are looking to collaborate with other Salesian Clubs in California. This picture represents the first meeting where all our operation people got together. 

Martin Luther King Parade in Las Vegas 

These are our High School students representing Boyle Heights and the Salesian Family Youth Center. They took the first place in this parade! Congrats!
