Know that feeling anxious about coronavirus is OK and normal. We’re living in a stressful time. It’s important that we take care of our mental health. If we have to sit at home feeling waves of anxiety, we at least can learn how to manage them as they occur.

Here are 15 anxiety relief techniques you can do from home:

1. Use some lavender essential oil 

2. Snuggle up with a pet

3. Remember all you’re grateful for

4. Drop your shoulders and unclench your jaw

5. Paint a picture 

6. Take care of a plant 

7. Bake something

8. Take a hot bath

9. Take a break from watching the news

10. Do a few yoga poses at home

11. Write down your thoughts

12. Try a guided meditation app

13. Remember to BREATHE (deeply)

14. Reach out to loved ones 

15. Get plenty of sleep (at least 8 hours)
