European Breeding Bird Atlas 2: Distribution, Abundance and Change

This is the title of the second European Breeding Bird Atlas EBBA2. Together with the publisher Lynx Edicions, we are in the final stages of production. The book will appear in early December this year – ready for Christmas.

Thanks to the financial input from the project it has been possible to fix a very attractive price. The pre-publication offer of a price of 70 Euro is valid for orders until 30 November 2020. The full price will be 90 Euro. Look at the detailed description on the Lynx website.

The atlas will present 556 full species accounts with 689 50-km maps showing abundance or breeding evidence, 222 10-km modelled maps, and 446 change maps.

We hope that the book will find its way to many readers across Europe. We encourage you to make use of the information and data for further work, from research to bird conservation, in a similar way as was done with the first atlas.
