March Happy Hour

New folks are always welcome!

Join us at the Front Porch! March 6th from 5:30p to 7p. RSVP here.

Colorado Feeding Kids + Brewery Crawl in Fort Collins

Colorado Feeding Kids is a great organization that packages hundreds of thousands of meals for kids in poverty. The Kiwanis Club in Fort Collins is sponsoring a packing event on March 9 at 9am. All of us that come can volunteer together, so it's a great social opportunity. Everyone is welcome to come help out, even if you've never done anything with our meetup group before.

I'll (Austin) be there and will coordinate a carpool for anybody that wants to go up from the Denver area. After the volunteer project we can do a brewery crawl to a couple of Fort Collins' choice hot spots.

RSVP here so that we can coordinate carpool.

Lunch with the Kiwanis Club of Denver

For those that don't know, this Young Professional's group is a spin off of the Kiwanis Club of Denver, a group that just recently celebrated 100 years of serving the Denver community. They've invited us to attend their regular meetings to give an update on what we've been up to and to introduce new members of this group.

Their next meeting is at 12pm on March 6 at the Maggianos in the pavillions on 16th Street. Members of the Young Professionals group are always welcome at these meetings (and they'll treat you to lunch!). RSVP for the next one here so Austin knows you're coming. RSVPs will be closed the Friday before the lunch so that Austin can let the club know how many people to plan for.

Sweet Dream in a Bag Gifting Event

Thanks to the folks that joined us for the gifting event on Monday! We'll have more Sweet Dream events posted to the meetup soon.

Dues are due!

October marked the start of the new Kiwanis new fiscal year! If you haven't yet please fill out this membership application  (just the first page up to the 'Receipt' section) and bring it with you to the next happy hour/volunteer project.  Dues are $100 for the year (or $50 if you are an alumni of CKI or Key Club) and can be paid by making a check out to the Kiwanis Club of Denver.

Many people's workplaces are happy to cover these costs (we can provide a letter if you need for your work). If you'd rather pay via Venmo shoot Austin an email at

If you have questions feel free to let Austin know at
