A bunch of tales I wanted to share with you

A tale I read

I Decided To Stop Therapy by Joe Dunthorne

A tale I heard

Musician Dolly Parton on experiencing depression:

"I don't think people can live in this world without going through times like that. People always look at me, they always say, 'Oh, you just always seem to be so happy.' I said, 'that's the Botox.' No, but seriously, I'm a very sensitive person. I feel everything to the core."

A tale I saw

The Dark Side by Tyrone Lewis

A tale I wrote

Martin was a bit of a boring bloke.
If I was being kind, I'd say he was content.
He was content with eating the same meal every day
and wearing the same jeans and shirt combo.
He was content not going to theme parks or on holidays
or watching sports or films or television shows.
He was content never reading a book
or listening to music or painting or writing
or walking or whistling or looking out the window.
But to be honest, that's not what made him boring.
What made him boring was he never stopped
banging on about his new living room carpet.
On and on he'd go about how much he loved
the feel of the thick, red fluff between his toes.
He'd tell anyone who'd listen. Which was no-one,
because he was a bit of a boring bloke.
