A bunch of tales I wanted to share with you

A tale I read

The Frozen Aisle by John Osborne

A tale I heard

Comedian Frank Skinner on being noticed by the public:

“I like people stopping me in the street and saying, 'Can I have a photo?'. I hear a lot of people moaning about it. But I was ignored for about 30 years. I've got a lot of catching up to do."

A tale I saw

GHOSTS by Tim Key

A tale I wrote

You're asleep in the afternoon
as if the sun died.
I'm watching people
queuing up for cheese on focaccia
from the food van that opened
outside our flat a few weeks ago.
There's a man in a grey suit
taking his second or third bite out of one
with a thumbs up towards the owner.
I'm typing this
thinking about the last time I slept
in the afternoon. I can't remember
but I was probably ill
thinking about the sun dying.
