Every Spring I get the feeling of adventure; of new experiences and new friends. It is exciting. And a little scary. We know there will be changes as we enter into April. The weather is warming. We’ve all got our fingers crossed that we’ll get rain rather than snow. Flowers are starting to poke their leaves out. Ice on the lake is retreating. Songbirds are returning from their southern homes. The air is fresh and clean and if you pause you can feel there is hope. Please share hope with us.
We thank each of you who have supported us through this pandemic. It is important for us to continue to be open, to support our staff families and the community. We appreciate each of you who have contributed to our being able to do this.
If April showers bring May flowers, what do May flowers bring? Pilgrims of course. As spring births a new world here in the Haliburton Highlands we are all pilgrims.
