We are planning on holding a Deanery wide Confirmation service here in Mid-June, if anyone young person or adult would be interesting in finding out more about being confirmed as part of that service, please speak to one of the clergy.
Our next meeting of Tiger@Ten, our group for those over 65 will be on Tuesday 22 February from 10.00–11.30am in the church. All welcome for coffee cake and a chat.
With thanks to John
For the last five years John Griffin has served monthly at our 11.15am service, accompanying hymns on the organ. We have been so grateful for his skilful playing, and the joyful, quiet and humble spirit which he has brought to the role. John tells me he was first recruited to play organ at a church when he was 16 years old, and has decided, after a long and faithful tenure, that the time has come to take retirement from this role. This Sunday is John's last Sunday playing organ at the 11.15am service and we would like to offer him our warmest thanks and appreciation for his dedication and service. Chris Steynor, Associate Minister for Music
Burst Pipes and Bagpipes
We are very sorry that Peter Candy is retiring after nearly four years serving as the church's Premises and Estates Officer. We will miss his hard work and cheerful 'can do' spirit, though he and Heather will still be around, of course! Peter has worked tirelessly behind the scenes, enabling so much of the church family's life to happen smoothly. We will have a chance to say thank you to Peter (and Heather) at our 9.30 am service this Sunday. Steve Nichols (vicar)
Our love and congratulations to Sam and Claire Griffiths and big brother Joshua on the safe arrival of Eloise Hope, Born in the early hours of 12 February, weighing 6lbs9oz. Whole family doing well. Congratulations too to grandparents Tim and Shona Rodemark and Tim and Jackie Griffiths.
Betty Lloyd-Williams would like to thank all those who sent her birthday cards on her recent 90th birthday.

Are you free for half an hour at midday on a Tuesday? In order to run our brilliant outreach of Noah's Ark toddler group, we need help clearing the chairs and moving the large rugs. This is an excellent opportunity to keep fit and make new friends as part of a team keen to share the Gospel. If you can help please speak to, or email Janine at: Janine.Bending@Lindfield.info

This is a good opportunity to meet together and connect more deeply than there is often time for. We'd love to welcome any who are new to the All-Saints church family. Mission Partner Focus: Simon and Becky Lunt
Praise and prayer
Another Iranian has joined St Marks, the Lunts' home church. "It was a blessing to get to know her over a meal at our home. Please pray as Becky invites her to join a church discipleship group."
Pray for Becky's Child Play Therapy assignments, and her placement at a local primary school. Thank God for all she is learning to put into practice among refugee children. Pray for Becky's work to be a channel for the Lord's healing love in these childrens' lives.
Thank God for increasing numbers of Iranians turning to Christ in London. Pray for Simon as he witnesses to and disciples Iranians at the Oasis church plant. And for him as he preaches at the service on Sunday 20 February.
Simon is going to help one of the Iranians cook an Iranian style meal for 10 visiting Bible college students from Sweden. They are with OM London for a three-week mission placement. After the meal Simon's Iranian friend will share his testimony. Thank God for this opportunity and the Lord to be very present at the meal, and to bless and speak through Simon's friend as he shares his testimony.
In March Simon is attending a Consultation for OM staff serving among the Muslim diaspora worldwide. Praise God for the opportunity this diaspora affords for Christ's kingdom to be extended. Pray for Simon as he participates, learning from each other, and encouraging and praying for each others' work around the world. Ropeholder Guy Rowland
