Pirate Holiday Club

We have had a fantastic week at pirate holiday club, with an amazing team of leaders and 120 children coming through the doors to learn that Jesus is our greatest treasure. A huge thank you to everyone who served this year and for those praying for us. What a joy it was to come together to learn from God's Word, to sing and dance His praises, and to have so much fun and laughter doing it. Do come along to our Sunday services to see a video of what we got up to.
Next Easter our holiday club will be Super Hero Academy so get your costumes ready

Malcolm Springall

A service of Thanksgiving for Malcolm will take place on Tuesday 19 April at 2.00pm in All Saints, following a family-only cremation in the morning. Pauline, Helen and Julie extend a warm welcome to the church family to join them in giving thanks to God for Malcolm's life, and to stay on for refreshments in the Tiger Lounge afterwards.

Can you help with Bentswood Hub?

The Bentswood Hub is run with the support of the Bentswood Community Partnership and they are looking for more volunteer drivers to collect leftover fresh food from four supermarkets between 9.00pm and 10.00pm. The need is great and the food is given away the following day to anyone needing it. The Hub is looking for volunteers with estate or hatchback cars, to either do one night a week or be on a reserve list. Two members of All Saints already help with this, so you could find out more from an actual volunteer or have a word with Sarah Hagger in the church office on 482405.

Mission Partner Focus: Sussex Gospel Partnership

  •  Ask God’s blessing on all the churches, large and small, who are members of the Sussex Gospel Partnership. They will all have had special services over Easter. Pray that that those who are occasional visitors to church may have felt welcome and want to come back. Pray that those church members who have not returned to church since Covid-19 may be encouraged to take the step of coming back in person. Most of all ask that all attending may have been given a fresh view of the wonder of God’s plan of salvation and a desire to share the good news with others.
  •  Many churches have organized activities for children or young people over the Easter holidays. Pray for those who will follow-up the contacts made. Pray for the children and young people taking part, that what they have heard may not be lost but may eventually lead to true faith in Jesus as their own Saviour.
  • Finally, several churches in the Partnership are seeking Ministers/Pastors, Youth Workers or Children and Families Workers. Pray that the Lord will provide good, godly candidates to serve these churches, to His glory.

Prayer for our community and nation
