Roving meal - could you host a course?
On the evening of Friday 9 December, the Encrypt youth club is hoping to have roving meal around the village. We are looking for people within walking distance of the church to provide a starter or main course for a group of about five young people and leader. It doesn't need to be Michelin Star food, just a warm welcome and enough for hungry teenagers! We are planning to end up at the Tiger for desserts, so if you are too far from the church, but are able to provide a pudding, you can still get involved. If you can help, please drop me a line. Many thanks, Stuart email@example.com / 07866 487535.
Calling all children from reception to year 5. Come to our Neon Party on Monday 31 October.

Can you create a poster?
Do you have the ability to design and produce a poster for the church noticeboard when it arrives? Do you have a love for God's creation? How clearly the sky (and much else in nature) reveals God's glory (Ps 19:1ff). If that's you, please let me know. The All Saints Caring for God's Creation Group have an idea of the gospel message the poster is intended to convey. It relates caring for God's creation and loving our global neighbours as ourselves, to Jesus God's Saviour of the world. To fit those three aspects into a poster will be a challenge our vicar, Steve Nichols, would like to work on with you. Contact me in the first instance. Mission Partner Focus: Simon and Becky Lunt
We give thanks that the European Muslim diaspora Consultation in Paris in September was a great success: over 80 delegates attended. Thank you that Simon, who now leads the annual organising team, was so encouraged by the presentations and the opportunities to learn and build relationships across different missions and different nationalities.
In September there were nine baptisms at Oasis church, where Simon is in the leadership. Give thanks that the Lord is working in many lives at Oasis. Pray for Simon and Becky as they continue to disciple young believers from Middle Eastern countries.
Give thanks that the Lord is working through Becky in the final year of her Child Play Therapy course to bring healing to children at her local school placement; children who are traumatised by family circumstances and fleeing war. Pray for her as she also studies and writes two assignments this term.
Give thanks for the relationship Becky is developing with a particular Syrian family. Pray that the Lord will help her as she seeks to encourage older children in that family to get more involved in the church youth group.

Al and Sarah Paxton Please continue to pray for Al.
