We are looking forward to welcoming Ruth Bushyager as our guest speaker THIS Sunday 11 July at our evening service. Ruth has been the Bishop of Horsham for the last year, and was previously vicar of St Paul's Dorking, where she helped establish the 'Creation Care' scheme. She will be speaking on this theme and helping us see why and how Christians can get involved in caring for God's world. The service begins at in church at 6.00pm and will be also livestreamed. Stuart Silk, Associate Vicar
Summer Services at All Saints
From Sunday 25 July our Sunday service times will be reverting to something more similar to our pre-Covid pattern:
8.00am Communion remains unchanged, meeting every 1st, 3rd and 5th Sunday
9.30am will be returning initally as "All Saints Kids & Friends"; six all-age services running through the summer holidays
11.15am will return to the pre-covid service that was renewed in September 2019
6.00pm will remain unchanged for now; watch this space for updates in September.
We'd love to see you back with us in person to worship together. Some may not yet be able to, so our plan is to continue to live-stream only our 11.15am service as a "catch up" service.
It's our hope that All Saints Kids groups will return at our 9.30am services from Sunday 5 September. Our 3.00pm families service will be taking a break over the summer holidays, though we're considering whether it may return in September with an outreach focus for families.
During the Summer we'll be looking at the theme of hospitality in our morning services. This is a vital gift for our church to exercise as we welcome a new Vicar, welcome one another back to church and welcome our community to hear more of Jesus. Carolyn Lacey gives us seven, practical and biblically based "ways to welcome like Jesus".
Copies are available from the back of church for just £5. If you'd like a copy, please take one and then either put £5 cash into an envelope through the Tiger letterbox, or make an online payment here: https://allsaintslindfield.churchsuite.com/events/rhcpr1gn
Welcoming the new vicar
The Nichols family are moving to Lindfield in late August, and Steve will be licenced as vicar on Thursday 2 September at 7.30pm. Details of the service will be announced nearer the time, and it will be livestreamed. Steve will be preaching at all services on Sunday 5 September, and is looking forward to getting know the church family after then. Katie Spensley and Laurence Trigwell, Churchwardens

Please complete a sign up for each child by Friday 23 July. https://allsaintslindfield.churchsuite.com/events/2nuxs76t
Great News for Seniors
We are delighted that we can restart Tiger@Ten on Tuesday 3 August at 10.00 am in the church building. We are really looking forward to meeting together after a long time of separation. Do join us to meet friends old and new! New activities alongside popular favourite ones, and always a warm welcome. We will then meet fortnightly in church, with our Christmas Special planned for Tuesday 14 December.
Opportunity to serve and make a difference
The pandemic has made us all aware of isolation and the need for fellowship. Can you give one morning each fortnight to work alongside us and make a difference? Do you have a heart to serve and express God’s love in social action in our community? We need people who can be part of our lively ministry among seniors, especially drivers willing to collect and return seniors who cannot otherwise access vital Tuesday activities. 13 July Summer Special CANCELLED
Following the prolonged national restrictions announced by Boris Johnson recently, we are so sad to have to cancel our Summer Special. We hope to be able to host a special event in the Autumn term instead – details to follow. Sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Children's Choir Online Survey
As a part of reviewing our singing ministries we are exploring whether it would be feasible to start a children's choir at All Saints, to meet weekly during term time and serve at some of our services. Thanks to those who have already filled out our online survey: if you are interested but haven't yet told us what you think, follow the link here: https://forms.gle/pKyQd5XycCX59vxY8 Chris Steynor, Associate Minister for Music

On Sunday 25 July there will be a Zoom prayer time from 4.30 to 5.30pm for our mission partners in South Rwenzori and Kagando Hospital. Do come and join us! All you need is the link below:
Please pray for protection, perseverance and provision for:
Our small team of YWAMers visiting until 17 July. They are young leaders on the School of Ministry Development. We hope that this will be a great experience for them and a blessing for us here in Thanet. We will be continuing to do our survey of women to see how to develop our women’s ministry.
My teammate, Beulah staying with the team. She has been offered to rent a small one bedroomed flat, which although it is a step for faith for her to raise the finances, it is within reach. Please pray that the final things in her process come together and that she can be with us here in Thanet for the summer.
Give thanks for:
The outreach teams that came in April and May. They were a real gift and we saw lots more ground gained in ministry development. We helped with outreach in Aylesham and arrived in the villages as the news broke about PCSO Julia James. It really felt like we were there ministering at the perfect time – being a blessing to the town. The teams led youth group for five weeks and seven of the young people made a commitment to follow Jesus.
Answered prayer that during those three weeks we could do lots of evangelism and ministry caring for many.
Our home has had repairs to the roof and it has felt difficult to welcome others; this weekend we hope to welcome the visiting outreach team for prayer, worship and a meal. Lucy (and Pete)
Praying for the Church Family
Please continue to hold in your prayers those known to you who may be especially in need of God's comfort at this time and especially for:
Lu and Roger Seymour. Please continue to pray for Lu's rehabilitation.
