Tiger@Ten goes to China

Our special guest at Tiger@Ten on Tuesday 14 June will be Jean Gorman talking about her parents’ lives in China nearly 100 years ago. If you would like to see some family letters and artefacts from the period come along to the church from 10.00 to 11.30am where you will be warmly welcomed. Jean will be sharing her parents' experiences with illustrations from her recently published book Seven Years in China in the 1930s.

Thank you!

A big thank you to everyone at Tiger@Ten for a joyous celebration of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee last week. Special outfits, Ken's Thought for the Day, laughter, kindness and special cake!

Book your seat at A Royal Occasion

A special Jubilee concert celebrating 400 years of music will be performed at All Saints Church on Saturday 18 June at 7.30pm. The London based ‘Petros Singers’ will be joined by Elin Manahan Thomas (Soprano), David Blackadder (Trumpet) and Luke Bond (Organ) performing music by Handel, Brahms, Elgar and Rutter. Book online here, or for further information, or to make a booking please call the Tiger office on 01444 482405.

Road Closure for the annual bike ride

The London to Brighton bike ride is on Sunday 19 June. Throughout most of the day, Lindfield High Street will be closed to North-bound traffic. Please plan your route to church accordingly and be careful when crossing the road.

As we know, parking on a Sunday morning is not always easy especially between the two morning services. If you are able, please can we encourage you to park a little further away from the church, to enable those who are less mobile or visiting for the first time to find a space in the church car park. There are often spaces available on the High Street, at the park on Hickmans Lane and at the Bent Arms pub. Please don't be put off by the signs, Howard the landlord is very happy for those attending church to park there until 12noon.

Youth clubs next week

On Thursday 16 June, Engage (school years 6-9, ages 10-14) is getting into the swing of summer with a garden barbecue. We are meeting at the Tiger at 7.00pm and taking a (very short!) walk to the garden. Pick up from the Tiger at 8.10pm.
On Friday 17 JuneEncrypt (school years 10-13, ages 14-18) are stretching their legs on a night hike. We will meet at the Tiger at 8.00pm, and return there by 9.30pm. Good footwear recommended!
As usual, if you have any questions, do please drop me an email or message me on 07866 487535.

Men United

We have decided to reinstate an occasional Men United breakfast at the Bent Arms in addition to what we do in church. The idea is for this to be a more informal breakfast, simply a chance to have fellowship and enjoy a breakfast together. The first one will be on Saturday 2 July at 8.30am. Booking will be through: Men United Breakfast (02-Jul-2022) · ChurchSuite Events Places are slightly more limited at the pub so if you want to come, please get booked early to guarantee yourself a place. We will be asking for donations to cover costs with the Bent Arms, suggested donation for a full breakfast – £9.00, tea/coffee & toast – £4.00.

Women Together Pimm's and Pudding

The Women Together team warmly invite you to our summer event on Saturday 2 July at 8.00-9.30pm in the church. We're having an evening of Pimm's and pudding along with plenty of time to chat and testimony from Katy Nichols. If you're new to All Saints, we'd love to meet you and introduce you to people. This is also a good opportunity to invite a friend along.
Sign up here Women Together (02-Jul-2022) · ChurchSuite Events

Volunteers needed for school assemblies

We need People to join the team to do assemblies at Blackthorns School on a Tuesday afternoon and at Lindfield Primary School on a Wednesday morning. If you can do either of those days we would be grateful for your help. Even if you can only do once a term that would be super.
Please contact Val Upton on: or the church office on 482405 for more information.

A huge thank you to our gardening team and friends who last week filled different planters around our church buildings.
