It is wonderful to see so many gather to pray each month, but the pattern has not solved the clash with PCC weeks and is confusing to many. Therefore, going forward our church prayer meetings will be on the first Wednesday evening of the month (starting Wednesday 7 September), 8.00-9.00pm in the church. Please do put them in your diary.
If you're not able to be with us in person, do join others praying on Zoom:

All Saints Kids
All Saints Kids Sunday Leaders
A reminder that this Friday at 7:30pm the ASK team will be meeting in the Tiger Lounge to get ready for a new term. Cake and a cuppa await you.
Parents and Carers with Children in the All Saints Kids Groups.
We are so excited to be back this Sunday morning with our ASK groups during the 9:30am service. Can we remind all parents to please sign your children in at the desk before the service starts (it may be inside if it is raining). This is so helpful to ensure our registers are accurate when moving children between buildings. If you are running late for church, don't worry but please drop your child to a leader in the Tiger Lounge so the leader can Register them. It is tricky when a child just pops up in group. Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday!
The leader's for Noah's Ark will be meeting on Wednesday 7th September at 10am to prepare for a new year. Please pray for this amazing outreach ministry that will launch on Wednesday 14th September for a new term.

What's Your Question?
Heaven sounds like it’s going to be a really long church service; I’m not sure I want to go there forever! What does the Bible say about eternity?
Sometimes I get excited by the Gospel. At other times I am discouraged. Most of the time Jesus feels like a nice idea, but a long way off! What should I feel like as a Christian?
If God is both all-powerful and all-loving why does He allow suffering in the world?
We all have questions about the Christian faith. Thank you for the 40-50 questions submitted recently. Six have been selected and we consider them together over six weeks in the autumn, Wednesday nights 14th September to 26thOctober. A mixture of upfront teaching and small-group discussion. Food from 7.30pm. Start at 8.00pm, finish by 9.00pm. Please sign-up so we know numbers for food.(Free, but donation to cover food on the night).
Seniors advice and support workshop
A ‘cost of Living' information, advice and support workshop for seniors will be held on Thursday 6 October at 10.00amin the church.
Citizens Advice Bureau, Age UK and West Sussex Carers Support will all be sharing advice and information. The event is open to all. If you have any particular personal worries about current cost of living issues, please talk to me confidentially or leave a message and I will phone you back. Carrie Britton: 07902 285436
Women Together Breakfast
We are looking forward to welcoming you to our first event after the summer break on Saturday 8th October 8.30-10.30 in the church.
We all struggle with confidence at different times of our lives, for different reasons and in different areas. Join us for breakfast and an opportunity to chat and deepen our connections as we explore together the theme of confidence through bible study and testimony. (We plan to continue with this theme at our breakfast on February 25th through more of a workshop style approach.) It can be difficult to come to events like this, so do encourage friends along and help make it welcoming and safe for each other.
The next Repair Café is this Saturday 3 September from 10.00 am to 1.00pm at the United Reform Church. The usual repairs will be undertaken. This week’s theme is sewing and back to school. The children can help sew our new sewing banner on the children’s table. If you'd like more information or would like to be involved with the repair cafe, please email firstname.lastname@example.org

Please join us on Saturday mornings, 8.45am to 9.30am at Lindfield Evangelical Church.
Day of Prayer
On Friday 16 September Lindfield Evangelical Free Church will be open between 2.00pm – 6.00pm for prayer.
