When many of the students returned to school after the pandemic, they had to re-learn how to connect with their peers. At Coldwater Canyon Elementary School and Carson Street STEAM Academy, we focused on our students’ social emotional well-being and the implications of how students interact with one another in person and online.

Association of California School Administrators Region 16 Awards
 
ITI Director named Technology Administrator of the Year
ITI Director, Sophia Mendoza, has been named the Technology Administrator of the Year for the second time in succession by ACSA (Association of California School Administrators) Region 16. Mendoza is a leader in building the edtech leadership capacity of our educators and cultivating learners that are ready for our increasingly digital world.

WWe invite school Instructional Leadership Teams (ILTs) to join us for a 3-day cohort to dialogue and develop an informed, effective school-wide plan for digital age learners. This is a professional learning opportunity which provides school ILTs guidance in developing an Instructional Technology Plan for digital learning tailored to each school’s needs.

Computer Science for CA and the Sacramento County Office of Education invite K-12 teachers, counselors, and administrators to apply for professional development. Take advantage of one-day, multi-day, and weeklong workshops to learn CS content and teaching practices, inclusive guidance techniques, and equitable implementation strategies. All six workshops are offered at no cost and provide follow-up workshops during the 2022-2023 school year.
