Sign up for an Activate America phonebank or a Reclaim Our Vote phonebank. Both have calling every day into critical states and districts. Both offer on-your-own-time calling once you’re trained. (And they offer great training.) Reclaim Our Vote focuses on Black and Brown Voters in Southern states to help them overcome voter suppression.
SIGN UP TO PHONEBANK INTO NEVADA! This is our most vulnerable state. We need help! This phonebank offers great training.
If you can, sign up to do one canvass wherever you live. JUST ONE! This is legitimately the best way we have of moving voters–plus it’s fun! Look for opportunities near you here.
Donate to this fund going to Black-led grassroots groups getting out the vote in critical battleground states. This is important! Another great place to give is Down Home North Carolina, which is doing critical canvassing work and will use your money immediately to get more folks knocking doors. Give here.

Joan’s Democracy Cafe is doing phonebanking into both PA and GA several times a week. Sign up here. Their training is top rate.
Demcast has created a new toolkit JUST for amplifying races in Nevada, New Hampshire, and North Carolina. Go here, pick your favorite social media platform, and AMPLIFY away.

Together, let's make this final week COUNT!
Message from Marta
In just a few days, Americans will vote in elections that promise to be, (amazingly, given the choices) incredibly close. Whatever the outcome, we have worked (and will continue to work!) exceptionally hard to preserve and protect our democracy. If you have an hour or two in the next few days, check out the list above for ideas of what you still can do!
Numerous groups across Massachusetts have diligently sent postcards and letters to voters across the US, sharing critical information about issues, candidates, and how to vote. Those hundreds of you who have worked with Indivisible Northampton-Swing Left Western Mass this year have been responsible for over 60,000 contacts with voters! You have written to tens of thousands of voters in Pennsylvania, Georgia and Wisconsin, and thousands more to Arizona, West Virginia, New York and Nevada.
We are deeply grateful to you, our persistent postcarders, who have contributed your time, money and hands to make these thousands of contacts with voters a reality. We are grateful to our donors, whose contributions have made it possible for us to underwrite the costs of this effort.
Whatever the results on 11/8, we are in a marathon; the work continues. Check this out: Freedom for All for a dose of inspiration! Ever onward!
Other Ways to Pitch In
BAR INSURRECTIONISTS FROM THE BALLOT
Sign the Petition
Enacted after the Civil War, Section 3 of the 14th Amendment disqualifies from public office any individual who has taken an oath to uphold the U.S. Constitution and then engages in insurrection or rebellion against the United States, or gives aid or comfort to those who have.
By inciting a violent attack on Congress in an effort to prevent the certification of his own electoral defeat, Donald Trump engaged in insurrection and violated his oath of office. Free Speech For People and Our Revolution have teamed up to urge Secretaries of State and chief election officials across the country to follow the mandate of Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment and bar insurrectionists from any future ballot.
Sign hereto tell Secretary of the Commonwealth William Galvin to abide by Section 3 of the 14th Amendment and bar Trump from appearing on any future ballot in MA.
And read about this success in New Mexico! where citizens filed suit and a County Commissioner was removed from office as a result of his participation in the Jan. 6th insurrection!
Final Reports on IN-SLWM Fundraiser and our Vote Forward Letter-writing Campaign
Fundraiser. Together we have done something wonderful. Last June, when I started the fundraiser, I set a goal of $30,000 – $15,000 for each of the two funds we were raising money to support: Swing Left’s Immediate Impact Fund and Movement Voter Project’s Black-Led Organizing Fund. This was more than any other fundraiser we’d held. I had no idea if we’d reach that goal, but we not only reached it – we passed it! It took 16 months and more than 80 of us to get there, but here we are on the eve of the midterms with a result we can all be proud of. Here are the numbers:
Immediate Impact Fund – $19,568 (30% over goal!)
Swing Left’s Defend Democracy Fund (started later, closed in March) – $1,695
Black-Led Organizing Fund – $16,411 (9% over goal!)
Total – $37,674 (26% over goal!!)
To our contributors: We did this because all 80+ of you responded, with donations from $5 on up. Many of you gave multiple times, including a wonderful core group of monthly donors who kept the needle moving even in slow moments. We did this without live events, without “premiums” or incentives – no tote bags, no meetings with movie stars or big-name politicians, no plaques with big-money donors’ names – nothing but a repeated call to action. You saw a need, a cause, an urgency, and you gave what you could, with remarkable results. Thank you to all who gave to these funds!
Vote Forward. Thanks to all our volunteers – more than 50 – for a job well done! The final count of letters prepared and sent to infrequent voters was just under 13,000! It happened because they saw the need and stepped up to do what they could. Letter by letter, week by week, they got it done.
We can’t know if any of our letters will make a difference in whether their recipients will vote, but we can be sure that almost 13,000 people saw our messages of hope and determination that our democracy will stand – and that millions more saw similar messages from volunteers just like ours. Some elections may be decided by a small percentage increase in turnout as a result of these letters, and those wins may be enough to keep the Congress in Democratic hands.
To our volunteers: We’ve done the best we could. And I congratulate and thank you all for your time, your energy, and your commitment.
— Michael Dover
