November Means Leaf Removal & Fall Cleanup Time

It's that time of the year when the leaves begin to fall and cover the yard. It's important that you have leaves removed because they block sunlight and create an environment that mold and disease love.

Besides just removing the leaves, it's also important to care for the rest of your property with a fall cleanup. We'll get rid of the weeds in your landscape beds, trim your plants, reshape your beds, and more.

2018 Marked Worst Year in History for Fall Armyworms

Noticing brown areas appearing in your lawn? Due to the warm fall and recent hurricanes, experts declared 2018 the worst year in history for fall armyworms in North Carolina. Check if you have armyworms, then call us to treat them.

How to check for armyworms:

  1. Mix 2 tablespoons of dish detergent in 2 gallons of water.
  2. Gently pour the soap/water mix over the area where insect activity is suspected, usually around the edge of the suspected area.
  3. Within 5 minutes, any armyworms, along with other insects in the thatch, will come to the surface.
