Hello friend,

How are you doing today? I know we are all getting plenty of messages today about how to feel, how to show up in our relationships, and how to express love.

It’s a lot and can be kinda complicated.

Before we talk about how to love others, it’s important that we take time to love ourselves well.

But what does that mean?

It’s funny how loving yourself can be one of the scariest, most complicated and absolutely freeing steps we can take.

Some people seem to be completely comfortable in their own skin even at a young age.

Then there are people like me.

People who have learned to embrace who God created you to be. People who have journeyed to own your voice. People who have learned to live healed beyond trauma.

Friend, we do a disservice hiding in the shadows afraid to be exactly who God created us to be.

Choose today to shower yourself with so much love even if you feel you don’t deserve it, even if it feels uncomfortable.

You are loved. God intentionally designed you for His kingdom purpose.

Love yourself well today.

I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.—Psalm 139:14-16

How are you going to love yourself well today?
