Beloved in Christ,

As many of you have seen by now the COVID cases in our county have gone up considerably. I have heard from a few of you that you’re not comfortable coming to church at this time. While you will be missed until you’re ready to come back, I totally understand. Navigating this season has been tremendously difficult and I trust that each of you has good judgment to do what is best for you and your family.

As long as the Lord wills it, we will continue to hold services that are open to the public. The latest directions from the governor's office don't affect our parish at this point and the vestry and I feel that the precautions we implemented last week as still sufficient for this coming weekend.
  • We will continue with the 8 am, and 10 am services. At 8 am, we will continue to require masks. At 10 am, I want to strongly encourage everyone to wear masks.
  • We will strive to keep the services under an hour.
  • We will open the windows and turn the AC on. This should help move the air through the church.
  • If anyone is available to help clean after the 8 am and 10 am services, we will appreciate the assistance.
  • I want to remind everyone, if you’re feeling unwell, or have felt ill in the last 48 hours, please stay home.
  • If you are still uncomfortable in church, feeling unwell or feeling nervous again, we will broadcast the service here:
  • If you would like a pastoral visit, please let me know.
Furthermore, this Sunday is a communion Sunday, if you do not feel up to coming out, I would be happy to visit you. I will also be at the church until about 1 pm, if you would like to watch online and then come after church to receive communion privately.

Seasons of tribulation and hardship act to remind us of our desperate need for Jesus. I have seen with many of you, as well as within myself a deepening of our faith. I pray that you may be residing richly in the incredible goodness and love of our Lord. Please know that my door is always open, and I am happy to spend time listening to and praying with you. I am thankful for the opportunity to be your under-shepherd.

In the incredible love of our Lord,

Fr. Ian
