The Brimfield Block and Brimfield Star are inspired by orphaned antique quilt blocks from the Brimfield, Massachusetts Antique Flea Market. Done up in modern fabrics the design is brought back to life in a fresh, new way. This very popular block based EPP and applique motif stands on its own made into a cushion or medallion or make multiples for a whole quilt. Choose to do the original or star version (pictured).

Paper Pieced Mariner's Star

This beautiful paper pieced star will be sure to delight, as it is easy to sew with large and small details. The foundation paper provides a total of eight stars, with the largest at 19.5" which can be incorporated into a pillow or other projects. This is a great class for beginners and advanced sewists alike.

Anatomy of a T-Shirt Quilt

T-shirts are a wearable memento and functional art. Making a t-shirt quilt is a wonderful way to preserve memories for yourself or a loved one.

Maday has made countless t-shirt quilts for others since 2013 and will share her tips, tricks and design secrets for a fantastic finished piece. Class time will focus on proper preparation, stabilization and cutting of the shirts, no sewing machine necessary.

Project is Itty Bitties, a 42" square graphic quilt suitable for a wallhanging or baby quilt. Book purchase is required; print-out of foundation pattern will be provided in class.

Barn Quilt Painting

Choose from one of 30 block patterns. Maday will prepare and draft the design on a 24" square board for you and all you have to do is choose your colors and paint! All paints, brushes and supplies are included. Your finished piece is appropriate for indoor or outdoor display. One painter per prepared board, please.
