Happy New Year!

It’s a fresh, new year! We are welcoming in 2019 with brand new classes and fabrics to come.

The dye studio has expanded offerings with new surface design classes including botanical & indigo dyes with Kipp Inglis, Thermofax screens with Pam Niebauer, advanced ice dyeing and Marabu fashion spray textile paints with Tess Imobersteg and wet felting with Jennifer Angelo.

In March we start a new 10 session Block of the Month, the Chocolatier Quilt, with Vickie Arnold. We are also very excited to be hosting an a la carte Bag of the Month with Natalie Santini of Sew Hungry Hippie.

Visit our website and watch our weekly newsletter for what’s coming up in classes, events & fabrics. We are looking forward to spending time with you this coming year here at Blue Bar Quilts, your modern quilting and fiber arts community.

Reduce, Reuse or Just Don't Use

The December winner of our monthly drawing to promote reduction of plastic bag waste is Mary Larscheid! Mary has won a 4 fat quarter gift card.  Thank you to all customers who elect to use their own shopping bag or who just refuse a new one at checkout. It may seem like a small gesture, but never forget that collectively we can bring about change and have an impact on protecting our environment.
