This Sunday will see the baptism of Hamish Watson - we are overjoyed at this and wish him all our blessings!

The children will start off in the games hall and Fusion will meet then also; they will all return to the sanctuary during the service.  Children will be sent back to their parents/carers so please squeeze them in where you are!
As well as children to attend this fun packed week, we are also looking for people who can help in the planning and delivery of this week.  There will be a range of jobs on and off the scene.  Speak to Adrienne if you are able to assist.

We need a Ukranian speaker to help us reach out to refugees who are moving into the area.  Please contact John Twynam-Perkins or the office if you or someone you know can help.
New Friends Evening

Thursday 23rd June @ 8pm
Join us here in the church to meet with some of the church leaders and find out more about the church and our vision.

Email the office to register your intention to attend.
Summer Changes

With the holidays approaching, most of our activities will stop for a break at the end of this week coming (w/c 20th June).  In July we will only have one Sunday service at 10.30am.  All other services and groups will be off.

The office will be manned but you may not get a response straight away.
Lost Property

If you recognise anything, please find it in the lost property box in the office.  As we cannot store items indefinitely, the box will be emptied at the end of the summer.
Volunteer Opportunities at Glasgow City Mission Govan

Family Holiday Club

Our holiday club is running from Monday 4th July for 3 weeks. We’re looking for lots of volunteers to help make this a fun and enjoyable time for the families that attend. It’s held at Elder Park, Govan, and we need volunteers from 9:30am – 2:00pm Monday to Friday (4th July to 22nd July). Even if you can only commit to one day, we’d love to hear from you!
English Class
Our Project Worker Margaret runs a busy English class on Mondays 1:30pm – 3:00pm. We need some volunteers to either help running the class or to look after the children to let the parents focus on the class.
Internationals Sewing Group
We run a sewing group at 1:00pm on Wednesdays at our Child and Family Centre for people from a wide variety of cultures with a wide variety of skill levels and methods. We’re looking for volunteers with some knowledge of sewing machines to help out, including setting up the machines. It’s full of delightful people with lots of smiles!
Hoping we can get some help for these great projects working with families in Govan – the team there would be very grateful! Look forward to hearing from you if you’re interested.
Covid Reminder

As we see increasing rates across the country, please be reminded:

1. We have hand sanitisers at the main entrance to the church building
2. You are welcome to wear a mask if you wish
3. Please do not attend if you do not feel well
