We would like to thank all of our supporters, specialists, nurses, practice managers, pharmacists, allied health, pharmaceutical and health fund partners who have made 2019 another successful year.
We also wanted to thank our amazing View Health chemo@home team who have all worked incredibly hard this year to ensure our patients and prescribers are provided with the best possible service.
And lastly, and most importantly, our patients, who have trusted us and welcomed us into their homes, allowing us to become part of their treatment journey.
We would love to share with you some of our key highlights from 2019:
  • chemo@home have now administered over 15,000 treatments to patients in their own homes
  • We have over 110 active prescribers, referring patients
  • We have a growing team of 42 staff, based in offices in WA, SA, NSW and Victoria.
  • New partnership with Ascott, expanding our at home infusion offerings for patients on Orencia, Nation Wide
  • New national contracts signed with HCF and Medibank Private
  • Re-negotiation of our HBF contract, giving cancer patients access to subcutaneous cancer therapies such as bortezomib, azacitidine, rituximab and trastuzumab
  • New contract with Amgen to deliver carfilzomib in the home to public patients
2020 is also set to be another exciting year for chemo@home with significant growth plans.
  • Further expansion throughout Victoria, NSW and Qld.
  • More Health fund contracts will be finalised giving further access to patients on the eastern seaboard, as well as some Subcutaneous therapies
  • Government contracts are expected to be finalised in the new year, giving public patients the opportunity to access at home infusions
  • We are working closely with numerous pharmaceutical companies to give further access to infusions as home.
Remember, 1st January is another Private Health Insurance year, meaning patients treated in private hospitals will need to pay their admission excesses. This may be the ideal time to consider View Health – chemo@home as our patients pay NO EXCESS and NO GAP, saving them money.
