On this Thanksgiving Day, we at the GMChorale have much to be thankful for!

And it all starts and ends with you.

For more than forty years, you, our audience, have inspired us to make music together and to share our music in the community and across the region.

Singing for a Lifetime ...
since 1977
As we reflect on these fruitful decades, and on the meaningful musical experience we shared on November 11, when the GMChorale presented "Dream with Me, Dear Friends,"

We find ourselves deeply grateful for...
Joseph D'Eugenio...

Joe selects beautiful music to inspire and delight us all. He teaches the ensemble with joy and commitment, enabling a diverse group of 80 singers with varying experiences to sing with one voice, and to provide a truly meaningful experience for themselves, for each other, and for our listeners.
whose artistic vision inspires...
our SINGERS...
The GMChorale embraces eighty dedicated singers who hail from dozens of towns across the region, who pay annual tuition, serve as volunteers, and dedicate themselves to presenting beautiful music for your enjoyment.
to perform with passion and artistry that inspire...
our BOARD...

Represented here by Board President Nancy Schultz, who leads a hard-working board of directors that meets year-round to keep the GMChorale "in tune" and humming smoothly along.

Represented here by the steadfast team of members who assist other singers at the beginning of each concert season with music, registration, and a warm welcome. Singer volunteers provide critical support in every area of the organization, from fundraising to finance, from concert set-up to clean-up, from grant-writing to gala planning, and much, much more.

Artistic Director Joseph D'Eugenio and newly-appointed Assistant Music Director Melissa Rooklidge collaborate and support each other in artistic planning and leadership.

At the GMChorale, our pianist is not "just" an accompanist! Allan Conway is a full partner in our musical endeavors, and for many years has been a highly-respected and much-loved member of the GMChorale's artistic leadership team.

to create memorable musical experiences for...

Without you, there would be no reason to sing. You support us by attending our concerts, sharing our excitement, applauding, volunteering, and supporting the music with your donations. Please know how very grateful we are that you are part of the GMChorale family!
On this Thanksgiving Day, we are thankful for YOU!

We are thankful for each of you who inspires, sings, plays, leads, volunteers, teaches, attends, applauds, donates, and supports, for without each of you, the music would not be quite so beautiful, and might not happen at all.

So here's thanks to YOU -- from all of us at the GMChorale!
Happy Thanksgiving!
And did you know? Attendance records and donations are important to our funders and sponsors. The more often you attend, and the more you give, the greater the support we can request from our corporate and governmental funders and sponsors. Your gift inspires more giving.

Add your voice to the chorus of support! Please consider joining the many music lovers who support the GMChorale's music and educational programs. The Austrian composer Anton Bruckner may be best-known for his symphonies, eleven immense orchestral works that are vast in scale and dimension. But in his “day job” as an organist and choirmaster, he composed a wealth of exquisite sacred music for his choirs at Sankt Florian monastery (where he had been a choirboy in his youth) and at the cathedral at Linz. His ethereal Mass No. 2 in E minor, composed in 1866 to celebrate a new chapel in the Linz cathedral, is scored for eight-voice mixed choir and a small group of wind instruments. This Mass, widely acknowledged as among Bruckner’s best works, evokes the cathedralesque musical architecture of the Renaissance masters overlaid with the rich harmonies of the nineteenth century. The program also includes a selection of motets by Bruckner and others.
