Dear FUMC Family,
I want to share with you two ways you can get more involved at FUMC this weekend as well as the joyous news of the birth of two babies in the church overth e past week.
October is "SOCKOBETER" at FUMC!
During October, the Missions Committee invites you to participate in Sockobeter by donating plain white or black socks to be given to the Randy Sams's Shelter. Thank you to everyone who has given. The collection will last until the end of the month!
THIS SATURDAY MORNING 8:45!!!!
Your "PRESENCE" is needed this Saturday morning by 8:45 a.m. in Front of the Cabe Center to encourage persons running and walking for a cure for Breast Cancer in the Susan G Komen "Race for A Cure". Wear your Church T Shirt and PInk Accessories, if you want, make a sign or banner to encourage the participants and come join others from the church family offering support. Power Pak Youth will be hosting a water station. Your encouragement is are needed and wanted!!!
FUMC is blessed to welcome:
Baker Page Ribble, son of Whitney and Conner Ribble, made his earthly debut on Tuesday, October 8th at 5:07pm. He was born weighing 8lbs 7oz and is 21.25 inches long. His big brother is Palmer. He also joins his paternal grandparents are Kerry and Alan Ribble, Aunt Sarah and Uncle Lee Medley ,and cousins as part of the FUMC family!
We also welcome :
Margot Frances Mueller, third child, first daughter, of Autumn and Jay Mueller to the FUMC family. Margot was also born on Tuesday, Oct. 8th, and she weighed 8 lbs 11 oz. and was 10.9 inches long. Margot has two big brothers. The Mueller Family is currently living in Wilmore, Kentucky while Jay is attending Asbury Seminary.
