Reports from local Parkruns

A quiet weekend of athletics, but we did have several juniors in action at our local parkruns once again! At Whitley Bay, Elliot Summers set a great new PB of 8:09, with Alex Fielding recording a time of 8:58. At Blyth Links, Daniel Hall (25:34) and George Bryce (27:36) both put in great runs over the 5k distance. Well done all!

Elsewhere, we know you have all been training hard over the last week. Its been great to see everyones fantastic attitude and effort in training, even if the weather seems to be against us at the moment! Keep up the hard work!

We would love to have new contributors to the newsletter - this can be things like sourcing event info, more detailed race/event reports, and any other content that may be great to go in the newsletter. As it stands the newsletter rarely goes out on time, and is in danger of finishing entirely without new contributors. Contact Dan if you can help!
