Its been a couple of weeks since our last newsletter, we hope you are all well rested and ready to go in 2023! We have loads of fantastic action to catch up, starting with Saturday’s XC at Temple Park. Lauren Creaby was in scintillating form, finishing in a fine 4th place in the U15 Girls race in a time of 12:58. In the U13 boys race, Dexter Heatley (21st) and Jamie Floyd (25th) put in serious efforts in a big field, whilst James Green (39th) and Luke Stewart (41st) performed superbly in the U15 boys race.

Just after Christmas our seniors held their annual Xmas Parlauf on the streets of Blyth, and a number of our juniors took part. They absolutely stole the show with Luke S on the winning team, whilst Dexter and Lauren took 2nd place. Jamie F was on the 3rd placed team, with Freya, George and Daniel in the top 6 in their teams. Caitlin, Jack G and William also produced fine runs as part of of the 19 teams of 2 athletes. Results can be found HERE

India, Senna (and Nigel) Gorvett also competed just after christmas indoors at sheffield, with India producing solid performances in the 60m and Long Jump, with Senna racing in the 60m and 200m. Results

There has been lots of fantastic parkrun action recently, including fine runs for Evan, Geroge, Jack Webster, Jack Irving and Grace amongst others. Check out the latest results here (apologies for any I’ve missed)
