The Harrier League XC season came to a close on Saturday, with our juniors finishing their season in fine style. In the U13 boys race, George was 26th fastest recording a time of 14:58 as his great form continued, whilst Dexter Heatley was 29th fastest with 15:15 to cap his first XC season for the club. Frankie Foster recorded the 6th fastest time with 13:38, fantastic runs from all. In the U15 boys race James Green showed fantastic form to record the 31st fastest time with 15:28, whilst in the U15 girls race Niamh Adams continued her preparations towards English Schools with the 14th fastest time.
At our local parkruns, Henry Bryce scored a PB for 1st place at South Beach, with Grace Thompson running strongly once again. At Whitley Bay Junior Parkrun, Jack Irving continued his impressive recent form with 10:39, whilst Frankie concluded his busy weekend with 2nd place with 7:40. At the DK Mile, Daniel and William Hall produced strong runs, with a PB for Daniel in 7:07.
