Back in Columbus
In our last update, we shared about our decision to stay in the U.S. for the time being and to look toward trying to return to South Asia some time in 2021. You can read that update here.
Since then we have moved to a home in the Clintonville/Beechwold area of Columbus. It's a nice home in a beautiful neighborhood with lots of big trees. We are especially thankful for everyone who helped us furnish our home. What a blessing to have all our needs provided for so generously!
We are reconnecting with our church family, and the kids and Jess are busy with homeschool. We also continue language class a couple of days each week.
Scott will be returning to his previous job in hospital medicine at The Ohio State University Medical Center. He is thankful for the warm welcome back from the division and for the familiarity of the job. It will be really helpful as he seeks to continue to develop his skills and knowledge for taking care of patients both stateside and in South Asia.
Highlights since moving have included picking apples at Lynd Fruit Farm, exploring the nearby Olentangy River, and observing lots of birds and deer who call our neighborhood home.
