Dear Ward 3 residents,

Below is important information about the Takoma Junction Redevelopment Project, including an upcoming City Council work session and vote.

For information about other Council meetings and City activities, please see below that. The City Council has two scheduled meetings this week -- one Monday that focuses on Montgomery County Building Energy Performance Standards, and our regular weekly meeting on Wednesday.

Takoma Junction Project
The City Council will be considering the Takoma Junction redevelopment project site plan and a resolution on the site plan this month. Please see this announcement for details. The Council has a work session scheduled for June 16 and a vote scheduled for June 23.

The Council will be considering a draft resolution that will recommend either approval, approval with conditions, or disapproval of the project to the Montgomery County Planning Board.

Takoma Junction is a very important part of Ward 3 and the community as a whole, and what happens here is very important to me as your representative. I will be reviewing the meeting information and your feedback carefully and discussing this more in the coming weeks.

Please share your thoughts and opinions with me as you review these materials. There are several ways to do so:
