WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY
Biblical Parables are some of the greatest stories ever told. The Women’s Bible Study will resume studying some of them weekly on Tuesday, March 3 @ 10:30 a.m. A tiny bit of homework is involved so you will need a Bible and a work booklet. We learn a lot about how to apply scripture to our lives and have a lot of fun! Interested? Contact Betty Kaiser today or call her at 942-1317 to order a booklet. Our first meeting will be at Toni Broadwater’s.
Start your reading! The church book group is meeting next on Sunday, May 3rd. We are reading Marilynne Robinson's novel Gilead.
Amazon describes it this way, "an intimate tale of three generations, from the Civil War to the 20th century: a story about fathers and sons and the spiritual battles that still rage at America's heart." This is a beautiful book - please plan to join us for the discussion.
Do you have a favorite hymn? On Sunday, March 29th, join us for a hymn sing in worship. Please, turn in your favorite hymn title; we'll sing it and learn the story behind the hymn. There is only room for 5 or 6 hymns, but don't worry we'll have another hymn sing in August. One requirement - it must be in our hymnal.
Please write down the title and your name - tell me why you love it, and put it in the offering plate. We'll sing as many as we can. Thank you!
