FPC has been awarded a $4,000 technology grant from the Presbytery to improve the audio/visual equipment in Friendship Hall. We will be upgrading the space for presentations, panels, workshops, family movie night, and other events.
DEMENTIA CARE PARTNER
Information Sessions with Judy Sieber, RN. These sessions will help those caring for others with dimentia. Classes start Friday November 1st
at 11:00 am and go through November 15th

Tulku Jigme Rinpoche, Tibetan Buddhist Meditation and Philosophy Teacher, Founder and Director of the Palmo Center for Peace and Education in Cottage Grove, will offer a public talk on Gratitude, Friday, November 22, 6pm in Friendship Hall.

The wreaths are hand-tied and made of fresh Oregon noble fir, decorated with holly sprigs, pine cones and a red bow. They are approximately 24”-26” in diameter and cost $35 each. BEDS FOR FREEZING NIGHTS
is Looking for Site Volunteers. The shelter will open at Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH) Catholic Church at 1025 N. 19th Street when the average temperature drops below 29 degrees from November 15 – March 31. Two volunteers are needed to staff the shelter during each of the following shifts: 6:00 to 11:00 pm, 10:45 pm to 4:00 am, 3:45 to 8:00 am. Volunteers are required to undergo a $10 background check and attend a training meeting on Saturday, November 9th at OLPH from 10:00 am to noon. Volunteers will be assigned a shift according to their availability when the shelter is activated. To volunteer, or for more information, please check out freezingnights.com
