In Queensland alone, Construction Skills Queensland’s Major Projects Index predicts up to $92.9 billion in planned construction projects, representing up to 50,000 new jobs. In addition, State and Federal governments have shown a renewed interest in both tertiary STEM qualifications, as well as continuing to subsidise and promote VET courses and apprenticeships. With this in mind, we wanted to share some of the most in-demand roles in the construction sector within Queensland:
- Carpenters and Joiners
- Electricians
- Plumbers
- Painting Trades Workers
- Building and Plumbing Labourers
The construction industry is a dynamic and rewarding industry that makes an important contribution to our country. That’s why we have teamed up with Construction Skills Queensland to revamp and extend our successful e-learning course The New-Print of Construction.
