CPV codes

Common Procurement Vocabulary (CPV Codes) determine which opportunities you get notifications on within sell2wales.

Sell2Wales have provided this handy little booklet:
(CPV) Codes - Sell2Wales - › user-guides › overview

The codes are used by both buyers and suppliers as a standard way to define the types of services that are on offer. It’s the buyers responsibility to make sure the codes accurately reflect their offer so that you find the right notices from public sector buyers. In practice this might mean as a supplier you have to review your categories of work and corresponding codes so that you get the most out of sell2wales.

As Guto Carrod from Business Wales said “You then have to sift through those opportunities yourself, but then at least you know what’s happening in the market in relation to your area of work. All of which will help grow and shape your business offer."
Business Profile
We're currently compiling our Business Directory, where we'll highlight all the businesses who have linked with Connect4Success RCT. The first of these is:
The Gourmet Butcher

The Gourmet Butcher is a meat supplier, based in Llantrisant.
They provide fresh meat to the hospitality and public sector. They also provide a retail service both online and in a shop in the local community.

Why did you sign up to Connect4SuccessRCT?
There are a lot of small local businesses that want to supply services to the public sector, but find the procurement process difficult.

What’s the best thing about the community you’re based in?
Our community is very diverse. We have a range of different people that come to our shop, and that’s great. We’re very community-minded.
