Coronavirus (Covid-19) Support for Commissioned Providers

ADSS Cymru is working in partnership with CIW, Social Care Wales, WLGA and Welsh Government to produce a document detailing support for Commissioned Providers. The guidance lists a range of pressures and actions that commissioners may take to address them in dealing with issues arising from the current Covid-19 crisis. This page will continue to be updated as and when necessary.

We are also working with the National Commissioning Board, Welsh Government and others to compile a bulletin drawing together links to the latest updates on guidance for care providers as it has been suggested that there is a need for a consistent source of information. We’re aiming for this to be published on Wednesday. This will also be featured on our website and regularly updated, with emails going out to keep raising awareness.

The bulletin will be featured here: https://www.adss.cymru/en/category/coronavirus-covid-19

Covid-19 – Stakeholder Engagement

Coronavirus has had a significant impact on all countries around the world. As well as the health risks; jobs are at risk; public finances are at risk; our vulnerable communities are at risk.

Providing for the recovery from the public health emergency represents the biggest challenge Wales has faced as a Devolved Government. This vital work will impact all areas of Welsh peoples’ lives and will be profoundly important for public services, for the economy and society.

Welsh Government are issuing an invitation to people in Wales to share their thoughts on how they should support future post-Covid recovery and reconstruction in Wales.

The dedicated email address is ourfuturewales@gov.wales
Members are asked to share their thoughts on how Welsh Government can shape future Wales, what really matters and about where the focus on efforts for recovery should be focused.

Closing date: 31st July 2020
