As Justice Alito’s leaked draft demonstrates, decisions about abortion will most likely revert to the states. PA Republicans currently have the votes to restrict a woman’s right to choose and they won’t stop there. It is imperative we elect Josh Shapiro in November to veto Republicans’ radical social legislation. And we need to elect every Democrat to prevent his veto from being overturned.
Although registered Democrats in PA outnumber Republicans by over 500,000 voters, PROTECT&ELECT knows this is no time to be complacent. We must register more Democrats. We must support ALL our Democratic candidates (from local School Boards all the way to the Governor’s office) in ALL ways (whether you contribute time or money). We must VOTE and we must ensure that our friends vote, too.
Today is Primary Day! For information on where & how to VOTE, click here and type in your address. Thank you for fulfilling your civic duty and making your voice be heard.
PROTECT&ELECT looks forward to today’s primary results and the November election -- our work is just beginning. Please join us in supporting Democratic candidates and energizing voters!
