October 2020
It seems very likely that our movement will continue to be restricted over the coming months as this pandemic continues. I hope that you and yours continue to be safe and well.
As meditators we may be better prepared for solitude than most; nonetheless, I'm sure that many of us miss our weekly meditation group. That is why we started our online meditation opportunities. Anyone can join in on Sunday evening at 7:30 pm or Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm whenever you are free to do so or you can join on both evenings. I send out an invitation between 7:15 and 7:20 on each occasion. Just click here (or on the Zoom image) and forward the email that appears to get added to the list.
Wishing you every blessing at this difficult time.
We want to be sure that as many meditators as possible get this email. And, so, we are asking group leaders to gather email addresses from anyone in their group who would like to receive these newsletters and to send them on to Noel Keating by clicking on this bar and adding their email addresses to the email that pops up.
Noel Keating has written a series of reflections on the John Main prayer which will be recorded in due course and made available on our website. In the meantime they can be downloaded as a pdf booklet by clicking on the image to the right.
Included in the booklet is a closing prayer for meditation written by Noel, which is very much in harmony with the John Main Opening Prayer. The closing prayer reads as follows: Lord, May our hearts remain open to your presence and guide us to love like you.
All our Irish Newsletters can be accessed by clicking here.
WCCM and Meditatio offer other opportunities also. Meditatio offers the opportunity of online meditation at 1 pm every Wednesday - just click on the image on the right at about five minutes to one o'clock to join.

The Oblates in the Philippines organise a weekly reflection each Monday morning at 9 a.m. Irish time, called Benedict's Well and it can be accessed by clicking here.
Our online Meditation for Beginners program is going very well. We will consider organising another one over four weeks on Tuesday nights in November. If you know anyone who may be interested please forward this email to them. They can click on this blue bar to book a place.

This year's John Main Seminar, which runs from from 19 to 22 October 2020, will be an online event for the very fist time. This makes it very accessible and open to many who would never have been able to travel to Mexico for it. The theme for the John Main Seminar 2020 is 'One Heart, One Hope - Indigenous Wisdom, and the Future of Humanity.' The fee for the seminar is just €72.30. You can register or find out more by clicking here.
