Democrat Candidates Run Competitive Campaigns

LWV Candidate Forum - October 4 -  The League of Women Voters is hosting a Candidate Forum at  the Blount County Library on October 4, 7 PM.  Come hear Democratic candidate Susan Sneed and her opponent Bob Ramsey in a public forum.

Democrats have an outstanding group of candidates for the November General Election:

  • Jay Clark, our next State Representative from TN House District 8;
  • Susan Sneed our next State Representative from TN House District 20;
  • J.Nathan Higdon, write-in candidate for TN Senate District 2;
  • Karl Dean, our next TN Governor;
  • Renee Hoyos, our next (and first) Congresswoman from US House District 2
  • Phil Bredesen our next US Senator.

Let’s make this a reality through contributions of effort, time and money to the respective campaigns.

BCDP Office is Open Daily

11am to 6:30pm

Located at the traffic circle on East Broadway next to Southland Books & Cafe.  It's also a Bredesen Campaign Office.  Stop by and talk to David Clifford, Field Organizer for the Bredesen for US Senate and Tennessee Democratic Campaign.

We have flyers, signs, t-shirts and buttons for all the campaigns.  Come by and volunteer to phone bank and canvass.

Volunteers Needed!

We need all hands on deck to have a successful #2018BlueWave.  In addition to voting, there are many ways you can help get these candidates elected:  phonebanking, canvassing, hosting house parties for candidates, writing postcards, helping at events, donating money!

Pick your campaign or sign up with the BCDP and be part of the wave!
