Have you voted?

Tuesday, Nov 3, is Election Day! Last chance to cast your vote.  Make your plan, find your polling place.  Take you photo ID.  You must vote at your assigned polling location - look it up here:

Absentee voting?

If you haven't returned your absentee ballot yet, to get it there in time, you must sign it, stamp it and take it to the Maryville Post Office at 226 Keller Lane BY 3:00pm on Nov 3.  Take it to the counter and tell them it is a ballot.  That's the only way for the Election Commission to receive your absentee ballot in time.

If you have any other questions about where or how to vote, contact the Blount County Election Commission - Phone: 865-273-5920

We had a great turnout at our Drive In Movie Event. We shared words from our candidates and some special memories in this video. Enjoy and thank you for voting and volunteering.

Can you help on Election Day?

We can still reach voters on Election Day!  Polls are open from 8AM - 8PM but even an hour or two could be the difference.  Can you:
  • Print out our list of Democrats running for office and offer to voters as they approach the line, or are beyond the 100' mark from the Poll entrance?
  • Set up a TV Tray or Small Polling Table at your Precinct  and offer Local Candidate Information and our List.
  • Wave your favorite Candidate's sign, or create a stack of signs to wave near the parking lot entrance of the Precinct.
The BCDP is hosting a Zoom Meeting on Saturday October 31st at noon to discuss the details and prepare you to make an impact on Election Day, November 3rd.

This is our year to shine, and show Blount County voters there are Democrats to support.  If you are interested and can't make the Zoom Meeting, please contact volunteer Candidate Advocate Melissa McCrossen at or 925-787-8755 and she can provide more details.
