Our Work with Young People

Young people are an essential voice that should be heard. They’re tomorrow’s service users and the workforce of the future. We actively seek their views and opinions, and support them to ‘have their say’ and ‘their voices heard’.

We do this in several ways:

  • Attending school assemblies or school meetings and classes
  • Visiting youth clubs and groups
  • Running activity sessions at youth events
  • Running activity sessions at family/community events
  • Involving young people in our day-to-day work through our volunteering roles

We’ve developed this resource pack for young people to find out more about our work and to get involved. The pack can also be used by youth leaders, teachers and others who work with young people to support young people’s physical and mental well-being, and to test out new ideas and assumptions about supporting them. Sign up to receive the youth pack here.

Dramatis are pleased to announce the launch of their new DRAMATIS ONLINE this week.

This new programme includes discounted Youth Drama classes (via Zoom) and a free personalised video messaging service (that people can use to send personalised messages to friends and family celebrating a special occasion). Further information can be seen here.

Don't forget on Thursday to applaud the NHS and all those working on the front line at 8pm for the great work they are doing, then afterwards we want everyone to sing Happy 100th Birthday to Captain Tom Moore who has raised over 28 million for the NHS.  We want to hear you all singing, whether you are in your garden, in the shower, no matter where you are.
